Members of IPMS Philippines Bert Anido were accorded a special treat when they were given an exclusive tour of the aircraft used during the recently-concluded Balikatan exercises for 2009 at the Haribon Airfield in Clark Air Base.

The adventurous group got an eyeful as US Marine AV-8B Harriers took off on the way to their carrier USS Essex, and were given a tour of the parked F-16 CGs that came all the way from Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.

At the end of the tour, the group was lavished with a sumptuous lunch courtesy of Angeles City-based member David Mason who was instrumental in making this visit possible.  The club wishes to thank Capt. Mason and his family for all the efforts he has exerted for making this happen as well as for his hospitality.

Special thanks also go out to Capt. Clouthier for guiding the group to the flight line and S/Sgt. Koravich of the USAF who gave a very informative lecture on the F-16.  The club is likewise grateful for the assistance rendered by Capt. Randy Pascua of the PAF.
